unspoken communication.

I really, really like trains.

i swear, if i hear the word ‘limba’ again.

The current state of theme affairs on this little log o’ mine doesn’t inspire me at all.  I confess I even pirated a few books that promise to teach me “CODE [MY] OWN PREMIUM WORDPRESS THEMES WITHIN A WEEK, NO PREVIOUS PROGRAMMING AND DESIGN KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED”.

Colour me inspired.

Meanwhile, I’ve been browsing theme directory, and nothing seems to allure me.  I downloaded and installed a bunch of minimalist themes, but it seems that they just clutter my Themes option page.  They’re nice, all of them — I mean, I wouldn’t've downloaded them otherwise — but for some reason I don’t want to apply any of them.

Maybe I should go the other way and download something drastically widgeted with eight hundred colours per pixel instead.

So the channel that’s been showing Bones S5 in my neck of very deep and very dark woods suddenly decided to go under.  Well, no, it is still alive, which can be seen at both the channel’s website and our satellite TV provider, but has been showing no signs of life on my end for two weeks now.  My family’s cable TV provider shows the local variation of this channel, but the old TV in my Mum’s room (the only room where I have access to that zombifiying black box of doom) cannot be programmed to show it.

I found a miraculous website that lets me stream the series and watch them like that.  The fact that such a site exists and can be located after a very brief google makes me very happy, because back when I was catching up with S1 and S2, when I first discovered Bones, it took me a while to stumble upon something rather obscure.  Most websites that let you watch series for free don’t cover my area.

The problem remains, though, because these sites don’t offer subtitles, of course, and my Mum, who is more of a fan than I am, needs subtitles (English or Russian, but the latter is preferred) to understand everything that’s going on.

Hard not to resort to illegal activities, let me tell you.

It’s 20C around here today, and it’s raining. Lovely weather.

y so slow.

Sometimes it takes me a minute to find the page break button.  I’m not sure why.  I often mistake it with the ‘kitchen sink’ one.  I mean.  They’re both buttons with a horizontal break in them.  Or something.  I should probably just learn keyboard shortcuts already.

But this post is not about that.

I like moving pictures.  Who doesn’t?  So below are three of them.  I’d call them videos, but really, the quality is quite horrendous.  But I like moving pictures.  I record a lot of those for posterity, so here I am, generously sharing this posterity with you.

Make sure to turn your speakers off for the second one (the one with the trees that will make you dizzy).  You can turn them back on for the third one, and hear the horrendous ticking sound on the background.  That’s my alarm clock.
