notebook pr0n through the years – 2008.

I buy (or used to, as the case of financial affairs may be) an excessive amount of notebooks.  A couple of weeks ago I was very sick and bored out of my mind, so I made a tally of all the empty notebooks I currently have.  I’ll spare you the long categorised list, but let’s just say that it adds up to 2964 pages.

2964 pages. Now, if we divide it by 48 (which is the regular amount of pages in a notebook here), we’ll end up with approximately 61 notebooks.

The very small ones were not included in the count.

Let’s just stop here and conclude that I’ve got more than enough.

So, here’s the first post of notebook pr0n, featuring year 2008.  *coughs and continues in a dramatic tone*  Many a thing have happened in the last two years, many a notebook have suffered.  Some were even given or sent away.

Which is a far better fate than being one of my journals.  On to the imagery.  Some of them are clickable and lead to bigger versions.

Here they all are, neatly sorted into piles:  The stand-alone one, the soft-cover ones, the A4, the small, the uber-small, and the hard-cover ones.

And here’s the Pyramid of Doom.  It’s safe to say that it was at least one foot tall.  Maybe higher.

on such a winter’s day.

This is journal #6 of 2009.

I usually have a bunch of ridiculous little rules I set for myself, one of them being, “never use repurposed notebooks for day-to-day journal.”  I broke that silly self-imposed rule with this one.  I broke the hell out of it, actually, as it’s been repurposed two or three times before it even got the chance of becoming my daily journal.

Incidentally it turned out being one of my favourite journals of all time.  Of all time.

Spent the bigger part of the last hour or so contemplating the best way to start this place.

Still have no idea, but here we go.
