journal pr0n! year 2009.

This post is smaller than the one before it.  I seem to have taken very little photos in 2009 overall, and journal photos were no exception.

These were all the journals I completed in 2009 until the month of June.  The only missing was the journal I started in 2008 and carried over to 2009.  You can see its cover here.  The one with a kitty.

journal pr0n! year 2008.

So, opposite to all the blank notebooks that are in my possession, I thought I’d post some pictures of finished journals as well.  They aren’t as abundant as blanks, but it’s a start, no?

This is how everything looked in 2008.

Where I kept everything.  The thing covered with a blanket type thing is a small drawer.  I covered it because it a) lacked many drawers; b) was kept with its back to the wall (for aesthetic purposes, not for secrecy) and c) its back, which became its front, was of a very dirty white colour that made my entire room look like no cleaning or repairs have ever been done in it before.  Paintings are irrelevant, but if you wonder — the first one was a complement to my Father’s huge purchase in some shop and the one with a piggy was a gift for his birthday.  He’s born in the year of the Dog, but in January, so a lot of people mistakenly think he’s born in the year of the Pig. tools for journalling.

I thought I’d repost what I had already posted in one of the livejournal communities I’m part of:  Piles of supplies I have for journalling and what not.

How everything looked before I cleaned and organised it all.  Two boxes on the left hold things pictured in this post.

It looks like a lot, and it is — especially for a text journaller.  I haven’t bought a paint or a colour pencil in years, though.  All of these things were bought for my art class that I took…  Oh God, many, many years ago.  The pile closest to you holds all current/ active notebooks.  The pile furthest with a Bugs Bunny mug on top of it holds assorted binders with craft (mostly sewing and crocheting) patterns and tutorials and drawing lessons, as well as colour paper and drawing albums.  That board to the very right is my ‘desk’.

earth hour journalling.

A quick photo post.  Yesterday I journalled through Earth Hour.  Writing by candle light is very relaxing, I think.

notebook pr0n through the years — 2010.

Pictures of blank notebooks ahoy!~  This is actually more of a 2009 post, but since I took these pictures at the very beginning of 2010…  Yes.

A lot of these turned out rather blurry.  No good light in my room, unless I catch a specific half an hour.  :P

I’ve received a couple of more notebooks as gifts since these photos were taken.  I’ll probably post an updated version sometime summer or autumn.

notebook pr0n through the years – 2008.

I buy (or used to, as the case of financial affairs may be) an excessive amount of notebooks.  A couple of weeks ago I was very sick and bored out of my mind, so I made a tally of all the empty notebooks I currently have.  I’ll spare you the long categorised list, but let’s just say that it adds up to 2964 pages.

2964 pages. Now, if we divide it by 48 (which is the regular amount of pages in a notebook here), we’ll end up with approximately 61 notebooks.

The very small ones were not included in the count.

Let’s just stop here and conclude that I’ve got more than enough.

So, here’s the first post of notebook pr0n, featuring year 2008.  *coughs and continues in a dramatic tone*  Many a thing have happened in the last two years, many a notebook have suffered.  Some were even given or sent away.

Which is a far better fate than being one of my journals.  On to the imagery.  Some of them are clickable and lead to bigger versions.

Here they all are, neatly sorted into piles:  The stand-alone one, the soft-cover ones, the A4, the small, the uber-small, and the hard-cover ones.

And here’s the Pyramid of Doom.  It’s safe to say that it was at least one foot tall.  Maybe higher.

on such a winter’s day.

This is journal #6 of 2009.

I usually have a bunch of ridiculous little rules I set for myself, one of them being, “never use repurposed notebooks for day-to-day journal.”  I broke that silly self-imposed rule with this one.  I broke the hell out of it, actually, as it’s been repurposed two or three times before it even got the chance of becoming my daily journal.

Incidentally it turned out being one of my favourite journals of all time.  Of all time.

Spent the bigger part of the last hour or so contemplating the best way to start this place.

Still have no idea, but here we go.
